checkout field not loading

I understand that you’re experiencing some issues with the checkout fields not appearing when you send a payment link from WooCommerce. Can you share with us the page or a screenshot where it does not show?

In the meantime, I would suggest a few steps:

1. If your WooCommerce plugin is outdated, it might not function properly. Please ensure that you have the latest version of WooCommerce installed, which is 8.0.1. Before you start, make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database.
2. Try switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One or Storefront to see if the checkout fields appear. If yes, then it’s an issue with the current theme you’re using.
3. If you have other plugins installed, they might be causing a conflict. You can check this by deactivating all other plugins except WooCommerce, and then check if the checkout fields appear. If they do, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the culprit.

Can you please walk us through the steps you are taking to send a payment link to your customers?

Additionally, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can have a better understanding of your sites current environment.

You can find this via  WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you have this, please share the results with us here.

we use bookable product, we sometimes add booking from dashboard manually, there’s an option to insert customer details like email and name.. we then use the send invoice details to customer option and click upate

From what I gather, in the custom order payment screen, linked here, only the cart contents and payment gateway areas appear, whereas you’d like to have the billing details also. Correct?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong here. If I understand correctly, the manual payment link that you send to customers doesn’t have the usual checkout fields, correct?

If so, this is expected. The link is designed only to allow the customer to pay. You ( the merchant) should add the address and order details from the order page itself.

The snippet is retrieving this template order/order-details-customer.php so I guess you need to figure out a way to add your custom field values to it.

If your business is invoice-based, consider using an invoicing plugin like Invoice Payment Option.
