Checkout Field Editor causes Shipping address to be lost when reloading

    Simply having the Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce plugin enabled causes Fluid Checkout to lose the Shipping address (all fields are lost except for State field, for some reason) when reloading or reentering the checkout area, but the values disappear only a second after the page has finished loading. When I disable the field editor plugin suddenly everything works as expected.

    Hi @imthele,

    1. As far as I understood, you mean that all shipping field values are lost, but the fields are still present, right?

    2. Do you have any custom fields or customizations to the shipping fields configured in the Checkout Field Editor settings?

    1. Yes you are correct. All values are lost a second after a reload except for the State field value.

    2. No custom fields or any settings modified in the Checkout Field Editor plugin settings. The plugin was basically freshly installed first time. I also disabled all other plugins that could potentially mess with the checkout page.

    Another issue I’m having is the Checkout Field Editor’s display rules (https://help.themehigh.com/hc/en-us/articles/900004407866-Display-Rules) don’t work properly in Fluid Checkout. I’m trying to show or hide a custom text input based on whether a custom checkbox’s checked. It works when I disable Fluid Checkout but when enabled nothing happens when toggling the checkbox and the field that’s supposed to hide just stays displayed the whole time.

    Hi @imthele,

    In regards to the shipping fields value being lost or not displayed after a page refresh, this issue has been fixed and it will be available with the next update.

    In relation to the other issues, you’ll need Fluid Checkout PRO for compatibility with advanced features of Checkout Field Editor PRO (by Themehigh).

    These advanced features include:

    – Display rules
    – Pricing rules
    – Custom sections

    I’ll let you know here once the Fluid Checkout Lite update has been released with compatibility to the basic features of Checkout Field Editor PRO.

    I’ve just released a new version of Fluid Checkout Lite which fixes the compatibility issues with basic features of the Checkout Field Editor PRO plugin.

    As explained earlier, you’ll need Fluid Checkout PRO for compatibility with more advanced features of the Checkout Field Editor PRO plugin.
