When I check the health of my Pinterest tag on their site, it says Unhealthy.

Further details show that I need to
“Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.”

I saw a previous ticket where you suggested that they install the Pinterest Tag Helper Chrome Extension (which is now located at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pinterest-tag-helper/gmlcbajhgoaaegmlbaclmmmhpmfdajmp (the link you gave does not work)). I did this, but I don’t know what I’m looking for. No Checkout event was found, but no errors were found either.

I ran through a test purchase and waited a few days just to see if time was needed, but nothing has changed. Pinterest says that I still need to add a Checkout event.

  • I’m not sure what a Chrome Extension is going to do but I have the same problem and I have the Chrome extension, that just tells me what events are working.

Checkout is NOT working for an Event and Pinterest has flagged us for it.

Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.
    Product ID
Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Checkout events. A Product ID can be any format that you choose as long as it matches the format used by your Catalog.
    Value
This should be the total value of the completed order, without commas, currency symbols. Tax or shipping should not be included. For example, if a user completes checkout for a 10 USD item and a 12 USD item, Value would be 22. Example values: 1000, 100.50, 10000.00.
    Currency
If you choose to include Currency with your Checkout events, make sure you follow the ISO 4217 format. If left blank, this will default to your Pinterest billing currency. Example Values: USD, GBP, CAD, EUR

Got the Checkout event to work by disabling the WooCommerce Thank You Page – NextMove plugin.

Now once we figure out the Remote sync status: Feed ingestion failed. ? Last attempt: 18 hours ago issue, we will be back in business ??

    My site is at sanefcs.com

Let me try disabling the WooCommerce Thank You Page – NextMove plugin as MMayleben did and see if that does the trick.

    It does not appear so.

    Pinterest still says the issue(s):

“`Checkout: Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.

Product ID: Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Checkout events. A Product ID can be any format that you choose as long as it matches the format used by your Catalog.

I uninstalled and reinstalled as part of advice on another ticket. I will see if that helps this issue as well.

It looks like the Thank you page plugin was the issue. Pinterest says that the tag is installed and healthy now.

    Thank you!

Hi, I have the same problem with Checkout. Pinterest Chrome extension tells me my events are working well. I have no thank you page. I waited almost 2 weeks to give time Pinterest to review my tags and still unhealthy, I am not sure what to do.
Thanks for your time to check my issues.

I too have the NextMove plugin…. what did you find as a workaround or replacement as the default thankyou page is not sufficient.

Also, any plans on making your plugin compatible?
