Checkout Error “Must be in the application context to share a source.”

    After a recent update of all plugins, customers aren’t able to complete their checkouts due to this error:

    “Must be in the application context to share a source.”

    The error comes after submitting CC information.

    Google search turned up nothing about this error. I’ve not seen it before.

    What is causing this error?

    Could you let us know with wich payment gateway you are seeing this error?

    We were able to narrow it down to WC Vendors Stripe Gateway version 2. We put version 1 back and the error disappeared. They have been contacted but they couldn’t replicate the error on their system. Next step is to copy everything over to a staging server for them to test things out.
