  • Hello @brunocf007,

    Thanks for reaching out.

So that we can have a visual understanding of the added field, could you please share a screenshot of the field? Here’s how to make a screenshot: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/. You can use a screenshot sharing software like https://snipboard.io/

Also, please share with us your system status report so that we can have a better look at your store setup. You can find it under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

Looking forward to assisting you further.

    Hello Bruno

    Thank you for your reply.

I went to the Checkout page but could not find any credit card payment fields. Here is a screenshot from my end.

Are you able to see the credit card fields on your end?
If you are, then please share the products you have in the cart and the address you have entered. This will help me recreate the problem on my end.

I look forward to your reply. ??

    Best regards.

Hi friend, thanks for getting back to me.

About reproducing the error, after updating the plugins again, for no apparent reason, it returned to normal.

But the error occurred exactly at checkout, when starting to fill in the customer’s data to make the purchase.

It was very strange because we didn’t identify any errors in the website’s code, nor any attack on the server.

And yet this error required to add card kept appearing… even though I don’t have this payment method active on my website.

Do you have any suspicions of a possible cause of this problem?

The error started after a woocommerce update and is back to normal now with this last update available on the wordpress panel.

    Hello Bruno

    Thank you for your reply.

I am glad to know that the error is not happening again.
If it happens again, let me know, I am here for your assistance.

    Regarding the website security:
If you are concerned your website was attacked, I recommend consulting a professional web developer who can conduct a full scan of your website.
You can find a local web developer or hire one at Codeable.io

Website scans can also be conducted by the web hosting company.
I suggest you reach out to them as well for more insights.

Lastly, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.
This report will let me check your website settings and identify anything unusual.

I look forward to your reply. ??

    Best regards.
