    Consider deactivating all other plugins and test. If it works now, reactivate plugins one-by-one to try to identify the one that’s causing this.

    I’ve deactivated everything and only got WooCommerce live and it’s still timing out.

    Its unlikely to be your theme but try updating it to 1.6.1, then try the default theme.

    If you get to the point where you have just the default theme and WooCommerce and still have the problem, then my best guess is you have incomplete or corrupted install of something, so probably the thing to do is to start over with a fresh database and fresh downloads. Export/import your products and images beforehand.

    I tried the default theme and deactivated everything but WooCommerce.

    The strange thing is yesterday this was working fine. The only thing that has changed today is that a SSL has been issued but I haven’t had details yet to upload certificate, and I updated latest StoreFront, but I have a child theme so don’t see how the StoreFront update would affect anything.

    Could the SSL be the issue and once I’ve set it up the checkout will work again? That is what my hoster is trying to say.

    Sorry, I’ve not used SSL, but there is a lot of info out there about using SSL with WooCommerce checkout. Your hoster probably has it right.

    This redirect checker:
    https://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/
    tells us that
    https://user7406.vs.easily.co.uk/WP/checkout/
    is being redirected to
    https://user7406.vs.easily.co.uk/WP/checkout/
    but this latter does not yet exist.
