Checkout – D is Null

A user advised my that my checkout is not working. Sure enough, after entering credit card info, I get the message “D is null”. Both the WooCommerce Braintree plugin and WooCommerce itself were updated in the last week.
I used my backups to go to earlier versions, but I’m still getting the same message. I finally went to a backup when I knew I had a sale and everything worked.
I am still getting the same error. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. The status log is empty as well.
