I have just been made aware of an issue that only International customers are having on my website (I am in Australia).

It seems that this “County” option has appeared in the address section of checkout which states it being optional to fill in, But if you don’t add anything to the box it won’t go through to Paypal. If you add a “county” it will go through to paypal.

Is there a way that I can fix this, as the County section was never part of the checkout process before?

When I go to the Checkout Field editor, the “county” section isn’t there, so I cant delete it that way?

    Hi there,

If checkout field editor isn’t picking it up either, then it likely means it’s being added by a 3rd party plugin OR a template override coming from your theme.

As a start, have you checked whether there are any template overrides for the checkout page? You can find that information on the system status report under **WooCommerce > System Status**

HI, I have just seen this reply, what am I supposed to be looking for in the system report?

    Hello @colourcascadefabrics,

What am I supposed to be looking for in the system report?

The best spots to check are the “Active Plugins” and the “Templates” sections in the System Status Report. Those are the spots where you’ll most likely find overrides.

I took a look at your checkout and saw in a few places the County field was State/County. Here’s a screenshot of the form showing that:

    state/county

Typically this field displays contextually based on the selected country. You might check for it being labeled “State.”

    Take care
