    Hi Diego,

We were about to purchase the pro version, but I wanted to test out the lite fluid checkout again on our 4 sites. We sadly had to remove the previous version on 3 sites as it causes large issues for customers during big sales. The lite version still has the issue. The issue is that it still breaks checkout when customers add products to a basket and continue to the cart. If one of the items is sold out or the quantity exceeds the available amount after being added to a cart, the checkout breaks as seen here: https://prnt.sc/fKAw0-3u6Pzo

Only the bar is displayed in this case.

To fix this, we instruct customers to delete the items from the basket and it sets the issue. Any ideas on how this issue can be solved?

    Hi @hpb951,

Sorry for the delay to reply to your message.

Normally, a message would be displayed along with the progress bar, similar to what the default WooCommerce checkout does. Actually, the progress bar should not be displayed in this case.

Currently, there is no fix for this issue.

I’m moving this task to the top of the list as it is really impactful.

I let you know once an update is available.

    Best,
    Diego

Thanks for looking into this. Yes, it’s a default feature and works correctly with the default checkout.

A different issue is, that might improve the messaging flow in the checkout – would be to name the products affected. Instead of having the default woocommerce message saying there is an issue with your cart.

An improvement in my opinion would be to say:

There is an issue with the following items in your cart:
    – item name
    – item name

    Best regards, Hakim

    Hi @hpb951,

We recently released new versions of Fluid Checkout which should fix this issue.

The updates should already be available from your website dashboard. If you don’t see the new updates, please check our documentation: New versions updates are not appearing on my website.

    Best,
    Alan.
