    Hey Sean,

Amber here, thanks for contacting SkyVerge about our GoDaddy Payments plugin! I’m happy to help! ??

I understand that you are receiving a message stating “GoDaddy Payments?does not yet support this block. This may impact the shopper experience.?Learn more↗ Switch to classic checkout”

This is in relation to using WooCommerce’s new Blocks Checkout, whereas before they had a Classic Checkout. We updated our GoDaddy Payments plugin to be compatible with WooCommerce’s new blocks checkout in version 1.7.0. May I ask what version of the plugin you are currently using?

    Thanks ??

    All the best,
    Amber

    Hey Sean,

Thank you for the quick response, and letting me know you are on the most recent version of our plugin. May I ask where you are seeing this error?
    Thanks ??

    All the best,
    Amber ??

I see it when I click Edit Page on checkout and it’s in the right sidebar / inspector on the Checkout block or any inner blocks.

Be sure to have GoDaddy Payments enabled. On a clean sandbox site I just put in TEST for the two keys in the plugin settings and that was enough to reproduce this message appearing. Here’s a screenshot:

    Hey Sean,

Thank you for sending over the wonderful screenshot, that was very helpful. Our GoDaddy Payments plugin has been compatible with WooCommerce blocks since January of 2024. You can see that documented here.

This being said, I ran a test on my local site and was able to duplicate this error. I also processed an order and everything processed successfully, so I believe the notification regarding blocks just needs to be removed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I will be creating a bug ticket to get this resolved. May I ask if you have had any issues with transactions?

    All the best,

    Amber

    Hi Amber,

Transactions look fine, thankfully. I would agree that it’s a benign warning message.

    Thanks,

    Hey Sean,

Thank you for clarifying that for me. I will add that to the bug ticket details as well. I’m going to mark this thread as “closed” for now, but if you run into any other questions or issues, please feel free to reply again to re-open it or create a follow up. We’re happy to help. ??

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. Have a great day!

    All the best,
    Amber
