    Hey guys,

After clicking “place order”, the loading gets stuck for a minute or two and tgen I get a 524 No Reason Phrase error: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LuPRPWn

There are a couple of js console errors but as far as I could see, there were not related.

Any ideas on what might be? It’s working on my local machine but not on staging where the credentials are the same.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @i1100a,

Thank you for contacting us. The 524 might mean your staging server’s connection to Braintree is timing out.

What hosting provider are you using? You might need to have them whitelist the Braintree API.

Do you experience any slowness on your staging server?

    Kind regards,

    Thank you @mrclayton,

We’re on Digital Ocean. Every now and then it gets a little slow but so far nothing too bad.

The checkout worked fine last week in staging when I started styling the template. So I think it’s already whitelisted or at least can connect to Braintree.

Any recommendations to debug this issue?

    Thanks again.

    Hi @i1100a,

I reviewed your checkout page and the plugin is working perfectly. The nonce was sent to the server and the WooCommerce ajax process was called.

I also received the 524 which tells me something timed out on your server. Check your WooCommerce failure logs and see if perhaps your staging server is running out of memory for PHP script execution There should be an exception in the logs.

WooCommerce > Status > Logs and in the dropdown look for the most recent failure log entry.

    Kind Regards,
