    Hi,

Of 450 subscribers we are consistently getting 1 bounce from the same user, even though I reset to subscribed. So it would appear that the receiving server is bouncing. In such a case how do I know the reason for the bounce so I can investigate further?

    Thanks

    Darryn

    Hi!

Normally bounces are happening when the email address you’re sending to is invalid. Our recommendation in these cases is just to remove the subscriber provoking bounces, so you can avoid those email rejections in future sendings.

Here you can find more information about bounce management in MailPoet:

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The email address is well known to the org I am with and I am conversing with them on the same email so its definitely valid, and they are annoyed they don’t get the email! My question is to how can I find out what the bounce reason is specifically.

I have read every article under the sun on this. Please believe me that I only post in forums as last resort to solve my question.

    Regards
