    Hello,

I have everything all set up and I’m really happy but I want to use a checkbox for user roles which will be integrated to a multiple user role plugin on top of this.

The “Roles (Dropdown)” and “Roles (Radio)” work just fine but I’m wondering when I go ahead and click on “checkbox” and fill in what’s needed to be done, what happens next? Am I supposed to be putting in a specific meta key? I tried role_check and role_checkbox but it just signs them up as a normal user even when I have made it a must fill out field.

Latest version of wordpress and plugin.

    Cheers

  • I work with an older UM version but I don’t see that checkbox option on the fields manager ‘Predefined Fields’ section. It’s possible that you can not use a checkbox for that.

    I hope this helps,

I never said checkbox was in the predefined section, was just wondering if it was available to customise it or not but I assume it’s impossible on this plugin, if someone has a solution that is custom I’ll appreciate it.

I said that I can not find that option in the predefined section, meaning that there are only the choices for radio or drop-down roles.

So, the answer to you is no, you may not use a checkbox field to select user roles unless, the developers want to reply to this request or you yourself inject new code into the functions.php which is, for most help participants, beyond the scope of this support board.
