Checkbox only form if changing will the old entries stay?

    Hi I have a form where volunteers check which times they want and I have it as multiple checkboxes.
    Now each month we will be updating the checkbox list.
    Will the removed ones stay in the entry database so that we have a record of all the months volunteers? This is needed for insurance and covid-19 details.
    Otherwise this would need a lot of forms for each month every year for a lot of teams.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    You could do this by using the frm_setup_new_fields_vars hook to remove the used options of your checkbox field. In this way, you can still add more options but the old entries won’t get deleted.

    Thank you. Yes I am using that but need to keep records for years. So with that in mind the checkboxes could get up to about 1,500 a season if we keep adding more checkboxes.
    I will have to try and find another method that won’t make the form grow out of control but keep the entries.
