Checkbox not accepting the saving of empty options if an option was selected

I have several checkbox custom fields created, if i check an option or options from the group of options and saves it, it works fine.

But if i decide to uncheck all the options in the group and saves it, the changes won’t take effect unless one of the options is kept checked.

I think it’s a bug.
