  • Hi @nealumphred I tried in clean website and the checkbox is visible by default. Please disable all the plugins and switch your theme. Sometimes Jetpack is in conflict with StCR or Form builders like Contact 7. What Theme are you using?

By the way, I saw the checkbox on your site. I went to this post and it is there, below the other checkbox “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.”

    Thanks for responding!

I was checking out the comment section of my pages via an incognito window but I wasn’t logging out! Once I logged out of my six domains, the Subscribe To Comments Reloaded checkbox appeared on five of my sites!

But I cannot get the checkbox to appear on this site: Rather Rare Records.

Can you check that site for me, please?

PS: I use the GeneratePress Premium theme. I deactivated all my plugins but Subscribe To Comments Reloaded and the checkbox still did not appear on the Rather Rare Records site.

    Hi @nealumphred

Try setting the “StCR Position” option to “Yes”. It’s in WP admin > StCR > Options, 5th option from the top.

We can’t test out the theme since it’s a paid theme.

So If the option I mentioned does not work, can you try going to WP Admin > Appearance > Customize.

Click on the “Change” button (for the active theme) and then click on “Live Preview” on some of the other themes. That way you can see the site with a different theme without actually changing the theme.

So if the StCR elements show up with a different theme it means the issue is somewhere in the theme and then we’ll figure out how to proceed.

Since you’ll be logged in you won’t see a checkbox but you’ll see “You can manage the subscriptions of this post”, but that’s ok, we just need to know if the StCR content is being shown in the spot where it’s supposed to be.
