    Hi Olly,

I have a little problem with the scrolling up after the delivery checkbox is clicked, because my menu and cart are not at the top :(.
which means after clicking the menu and shopping-cart “disappear” and the user will see the big header image instead.
Is there a way to disable the scrolling behavior?

    thanks!

you mean on the cart ? sure. by default it’s off anyway, so you must have turned it on somewhere (in the widget probably)
    just turn it off again.

if that’s not what you are referring to then a link would be helpful as to ascertain what it is you might mean

no I didn’t mean of the cart ??
I actually mean the refresh of page after clicking pick up delivery checkbox in the cart.
It is a problem if your menu and shopping cart is not on top of the page but rather down on the page. because after refresh the page shows the top again, especially having a big landing fullscreen image it could create confusion for users that after clicking this checkbox you don’t see the cart anymore you need to scroll down again to menu…
    take a look:
    https://karawane-berlin.org/tahtit/ (still in development)
try to click the check box and you see what I mean ??

btw I can provide you the hebrew translation of wppizza if you want?

thanks anyway for your great plugin!
    cheers

    i see what you mean.

there are a couple of different options i can think of how i/one could address this.
(first idea would be to have an option in the plugin where you define a tag the page would go to after reload – or something
i.e it would result in an url of whatnot.com/url.php#somenname
    )
    i’ll ponder for a bit

    regarding hebrew:
assuming you have an updated version (as there is already one included, but admittedly quite old by now) i’d be happy use that one replacing the old one

    thanks for the fast response.
yeah an ID would definitely a good solution.
    thanks for looking into it..

    regarding the hebrew:
I found the exising hebrew translations files.
I was actually talking about the frontend strings.
I still prefer using the admin in english but the client needs the frontend in hebrew.
I will send you what I got when finished.

    thanks again.

    re hebrew:
the frontend strings are freely translatable (i.e therefore changeable in wppizza->localization)

so sending me a new po file will not make any difference to anything on that front (other than on first install of the plugin).

the way this works is as follows:
you install wordpress in whatever language

you install wppizza which in itself installs some default (frontend strings) in wppizza->localization.

after that , it makes no difference anymore as to what the po file says for those frontend strings (as it would otherwise be entirely pointless to make them changeable in the first place)

    to follow up:
if you want the frontend to be hebrew but the backend to be english you’d do the following:

    a) install wppizza (without activating) in whatever language you have set in your admin
    b) *before* activating wppizza the first time : switch to hebrew
    c) activate wppizza (which will fill the wppizza->localization with the hebrew values)
    d) switch back to english

outcome-> localization defaults are in hebrew, rest is in english
and you can still change the localization strings as you wish after in hebrew (or whatever) …

    (hope that makes sense)

    hi olly,

thanks I did that already ??
    no problem here ??
sorry for not being clear, english is not my mother tongue!
I was talking of providing you the hebrew frontend strings, maybe it makes sense to provide these as well in different languages.

    have a good one!

in 2.11.5.9 you will now find an element you can set
go to wppizza->layout => page refresh element and set as described there

    any problems, just shout

wow thanks a lot, that was fast!!!
    it is working perfectly!
really thanks for taking the time, I hope it will help also others with one page layouts ??

one thing for your interest: it seems to pile up the #name each time you click the checkbox, which isn’t a problem in functionality just that you know.

    like:
    yourURL/#section_name#section_name#section_name#section_name

    cheers

    >it seems to pile up

haven’t had time to check specifically, but if that’s the case (which it might well be) i’ll sort that out in an update. no problem
