Checkbox broken after update to 3.5

  • I had a simple checkbox in my contact form (along with one email field and 3 text fields). After the update, the contact form is not working if the checkbox is checked. You can see the “working” icon (or whatever it’s called) spinning but nothing more happens, it just hangs. If the box is not checked, it works (but takes longer than before to show the confirmation).

    I had to remove the checkbox as a workaround, so I can’t demonstrate it. But maybe it has something to do with the jquery form plugin update?

    So, I’ve just checked my mails and saw that I have indeed received contact form messages even if the box has been checked. It seems that the plugin does send mails on each click but does not show the confirmation (and “spins” endlessly). However, it works correctly if I remove the checkbox (tested with FF, Opera, Chrome and IE7)…
