    Why should the customer wait 15 seconds with a freezing page after checkout? Why can you send all email in background and not wait until all been send?

    This doesn’t happen on my test sites, it’s probably because of your payment gateway.

    Can you please confirm if this happens also with cash on deliver/bank transfer orders?

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    I was talking only about bank transfer. Do I still need to share a System Status?

    Thanks for your confirmation that the delay is happening when using the built-in Direct Bank Transfer (BACS) payment option.

    I replicated the scenario on my personal site, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue here. After clicking Place Order, I am redirected to the Thank You page immediately.

    I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
