Check-out process required fields check

Dear all,

I have a problem with the check-out process of my Woocommerce webshop.

The process has 3 steps:
1) personal information
2) shipping
3) payment

In step 1) there are required fields to fill in, if you don’t fill them in you can continue to the next step and don’t get any notification until you want to pay in step 3. At this crucial point of actually buying the product I don;t want customers to go back in the process.

–> Is it possible to show the notification of the required fields in step 1 and prohibit customers to ‘continue’ until the fields are filled in?

Not really sure if this is standard woocommerce or that it is standard for the theme I use.
