    Hi guys,

I was wondering if you guys could help me to check if the plugin is working on my website. I’ve been making a new version of my website in a staging environment, and I just migrated as the production site.

When I click on ‘Test Cache’ I get the message: ‘Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages’. So, I’ve checked by myself in Developer Tools – Network, and I get the following results in Response Headers:
    cf-cache-status: DYNAMIC
    x-wp-cf-super-cache: cache
    x-wp-cf-super-cache: 1

I’ve also made a test here: https://www.uptrends.com/tools/http-response-header-check and I have the same results.

It seems that the plugin is working properly, isn’t? Would you guys please help me double check? I just want to be sure, my website is: https://mayangateway.com/

Thank you in advance for your support,
    Josue

    Hi,
As I can see the plugin is adding it’s cache control properly on your site: https://i.imgur.com/v1A99RY.png
But as I can see your Domain is pointing to a dns-parking name server instead of Cloudflare: https://i.imgur.com/nI2os8Q.png

So, make sure you add your domain in Cloudflare account first and then use the API fo your CF account inside the plugin. The following YouTuve videos will guide you further:

    Hi Saumya,

Thank you for your answer. I knew that my Domain is not pointing to Cloudflare, the reason I haven’t changed it is that my Cloudflare account doesn’t give me the option because my hosting provider is a Cloudflare partner. In the video tutorials, it is quite easy to point a domain to Cloudflare while opening a new account. However, I already have an account for a long time, and as I said it doesn’t give me the option.

My hosting provider said that because I have an active Cloudflare service with them, I don’t need to point my domain to Cloudflare nameservers. All the needed changes are done automatically on their side.

I made a couple of tests to check how my website is performing in other countries with these tools:
    https://tools.keycdn.com/performance?url=https://mayangateway.com/
    https://www.uptrends.com/tools/cdn-performance-check
And it seems that the plugin is already working very well.

Would you still recommend me on my case to point my domain to Cloudflare even though my hosting provider is their partner?
If you still recommend me to do so, I will contact my hosting provider, as I have visitors from different countries.

I appreciate your assistance and advice.

If your hosting provider is a Cloudflare partner then unfortunately you are not using the full power of the cloudflare and instead you are left with whatever your hosting provider set as the option.

This plugin can only be used if you are using your own Cloudflare account and not any partner account in any sorts.

I made a couple of tests to check how my website is performing in other countries And it seems that the plugin is already working very well.

    – It is not as your first HTML type request is not being served by Cloudflare one of the main purpose of the plugin and instead is being served by your origin server. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sXndjMr.png

Again as I said this plugin is for people using their own Cloudflare account otherwise the plugin won’t work.

P.S.: The choice is yours. Whether you want to use this plugin with your own Cloudflare account or you want to stick with your hosting provider’s CF account.

    Hi Saumya,

Thank you for your answer and advice. I was able to solve this. I’ve had actually my own Cloudflare account for quite a while now, but I wasn’t able to point my domain to Cloudflare as I got the message: Your DNS zone file is hosted by your hosting provider, a partner of Cloudflare. Because of this, there were no CloudFlare name servers in my account to point to.

I had to contact my hosting provider support, they disabled CloudFlare from my c-panel and I had to remove my domain from CloudFlare, and later I added it again to get CloudFlare name servers. After that, I deactivated and activated the plugin, and now it seems to be working very well.

I found various people who have had the same difficulty on CloudFlare community, so hopefully my experience with this help users who face the same difficulty.

    Best wishes,
