‘Check for Spam’ button acting weirdly

I just upgraded from 4.1 to 4.1.5 and the ‘check for spam’ button is acting weird. I see that there’s been some recent changes to it, but I’m not sure they’ve all been worked out.
On 4.1 – Check for Spam button is active, but clicking it gives me a message:
“There were no comments to check. Akismet will only check comments in the Pending queue.”On 4.1.5 – Check for Spam button LOOKS inactive but is actually a functional link you can click on. Clicking on it tells me:
