Check for many hits in a short time

    I think this is the issue i am seeing with existing users being blocked

    I have this turned on for my bbpress / buddypress site

    some regular users are being blocked. from what i can see it is when they have replied to some forum posts or tried to update their own posts or profiles

    Does this function which checks for multiple hits (comments) in a short time count bbpress replies as comments? and if so would it count logged in members as having broken this rule?

  • The plugin times how long it takes from the login screen or reply screen being presented to the point where the user presses enter. I could be that they are entering too fast.

    The log should show why they are being rejected. Try installing the Reporting Add-on that I wrote for Stop Spammers. This collects all data so you can trace back to the event that caused the problem and see exactly why the user was blocked.
