Check for a valid post status

Hi Takuro,
Can you implement into the plugin a check to make sure the post_status is a valid one? I had someone accidentally shift columns, putting what was in a different column into the post_status column, and when they uploaded it (sigh) all of the posts vanished from the WP admin area. They told me they had been deleted, so I spent time trying to recover them, when they were really there the entire time. I looked into the plugin’s code for any instances of “status” to see if there is a check for valid status already but couldn’t find anything. Maybe it could default/fallback to “publish” if nothing is entered, or draft.
