Check Box Grid – Contact form 7

Hello,
I have made a registration form in CF7 that has check boxes laid out in a grid using a table. to just get the checkboxes alone in each grid cell I just put in a pair of quotes { “” }.

My issue is in the email I get when the from is sent. The email is laid out with the same grid in a table. When I get the email, since the specific checkbox has no label, the grid in the email is just empty even if a box was checked. I just want an X to show up in the proper place in the email in the grid.
