    So “Deactivate” in Menu Options now doesn’t just hide a menu, it literally deactivates it. Not good. I have dozens of sites I now need to add custom code to.

    I’ll be deleting this plugin from all of them as that was all I needed it to do (hide, not deactivate).

    This was a pretty massive change to make to the plugin. I’m sure the plugin still has value for people. But I don’t have time for this kind of trouble.

    The trouble is your settings. If you hide pages for users, the plugin prevent the access to this pages and this is the message for this. However you can deactivate this check in the settings of Adminimize. But if you delete the plugin and all your requirements are done, than you should that. All not necessary code is not helpful on the install.
