I’m sorry to hear you are having these issues; it does sound like it could be a conflict with your theme and/or plugins. I would try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

It looks like you are using the Vento theme. Is that correct? You may want to ask in the theme’s support forums where the developers or others more familiar with the theme may be more likely to see it.

    I did both things…still nothing.

What is crazy is that if I switch themes, the page doesn’t display at all. Only the Vento theme is working.

    Does that say anything?

Did the problems recently start happening? Have you made any changes to anything that you know of?

The next thing I would do is verify your file permissions. If that doesn’t work, I would manually re-install WordPress to see if that changes anything.

Are you seeing any other kind of error messages?

They started within the last 2 weeks. I didn’t do anything…not even a blog post.

    I’ll try the reinstall. Thanks.

So, I had to reinstall WordPress into a brand new directory and then copy my theme folder over, and some images. It wouldn’t import my old blog at once. had to do it a few times. Then, I reinstalled my plugins one at a time and checked them. Now I have to repoint my blog to the new directory. PAIN IN THE A** but my recipes are now working…just lost a lot of ads which will need to be replaced.

    Sometimes WordPress is the pits.

Yeah, moving files around can be a huge pain! I feel ya ??
