    The link also works when the user is an Editor

    Doesn’t work if they are a Subscriber

    This is a WordPress typical message. It means you’re trying to access an area only Admins have access to. As you noted, if you’re logged in as an Admin or Editor, you can get there.

    When people join your site, they are not assigned these roles, and you don’t want them to be. You wouldn’t want them messing with your archive settings ??

    That makes sense thanks. So how do authors manage their own stories?

    Dashboard > Fanfiction

    Will give the author their list of stories only – not those of other writers.

    Ah think I’m doing something wrong then because there isn’t a FanFiction anywhere in the users Dashboard ??

    Problem solved. When the admin installed the Premium version of the plugin, she didn’t complete several settings. It’s resolved.
