cheanin uh? Error for Authors when creating a new part

  • Hi There,

    We are wanting to use Anthologize to allow each user to create a learning journal of posts, and have all users set up in WordPress as Authors.

    We have also set up Anthonogize minimum role to be Author.

    On testing today, I noticed that when an Author tries to create a new part in Anthologize, we are given the “Cheatn uh?” WordPress error.

    Of course the error goes away when lifting the user’s role to Administrator.

    Anyone know of how we can fix this as we need it urgently for a project in 15 days time?

    Interestingly, I was able to get a work around by creating a custom Author Role that allowed the capability edit_pages.

    To stop authors from creating pages directly from the Side Bar I used some code in the functions file to stop displaying the pages menu link.
