Chat working but cannot remove pre defined messages

These are the predefined messages I cannot find but wish to remove

Anyone help with this please?

Is there still support for this plug-in or is it dead? Not sure why a developer would produce something and not offer any support afterwards. Very disappointing.

Well initially yes. The admin settings were changed on the Facebook page and it worked a few times. After that, it stopped working so I’ve given up for now.

If we find a stable solution I’ll post back.

Did you add the questions or were they added by Facebook? I have 4 questions. I may have added them a long time ago, but I can’t remember adding them.

Hi Steve and Ian, I also have the same problem. Some time ago (2 or 3 years ago…) I’ve defined 4 frequently asked questions (can’t remember where, maybe FB or Inst) and now I wan’t to update/delete them. But I’m not able to do it. I only have access to create new FAQ’s and the “old” ones are not there (although they keep poping up. How can I remove them?

My Instagram account tells that FAQ were defined previously on Facebook Page. But FB doesn’t give acces to “old” FAQ’s.

May be FB (or Meta) should have something to say about this. If this forum doesn’t have the answer, how can we ask some help to FB Meta?

I’m wondering if not being able to get to, and remove/update, the FAQ’s is something to do with the New Pages Experience (NPE) ? There are lots of bits that now seem inaccessible since the NPE update.

Also, if I add a new FAQ it doesn’t show up.

Let’s hope FB Meta sees this post and can fix it… not holding my breath.

So today, I deleted the test Facebook page I created to start afresh. Created a new one, added the three questions (it used to be four), they were all showing in the Meta Business Suite, copied the html code into my test website page (Elementor html widget) and this appeared to work (for now). I am not holding my breath as this appears to be very unstable.

If you create another Facebook page and do the same as above, the predefined questions you create are shown and work with their respective responses.

Not sure my answer is helping guys, just wish the developers of this functionality would show a bit more interest in helping out us with less knowledge.

Thanks for the testing. It looks as if it’s holding on to old FAQ’s that were already entered some time ago.

As this plugin was developed by Meta I’m not holding out much hope of getting this resolved.
