Chat opening hours: Repeated maintenance error

    Hey!

    When the chat is closed, the maintenance error in the chat window is repeated every 3seconds.

    (Maintenance error: The chat is closed right now.
    Maintenance error: The chat is closed right now.
    Maintenance error: The chat is closed right now.
    …)

    Is there anything to prevent this behaviour?

    Hey,

    no, there is no way to change this without coding. If the user refreshes the page he/she will see a proper message informing that the chat is closed. The messages you have will be visible only for users that have opened the chat and the chat enters closed hours.

    this is great to know. I did not find the reason for the behaviour being stopped sometimes ?? Then it’s all fine and won’t bother me that much, others likely,too.
