There’s always the oddballs. I’ve been developing programs for chat apps since 1996. I have no idea who those 2 are (obscure at best) I’ve only seen one release by pidgin (then called Gaim) at the start of libpurple integration (way before python and TCL for the plugins) That ran backwards. – and it was changed within a month (due to complaints) –
Granted, i’m not knocking the plugin here – it does work.
I’m just pointing out (go download any chat app) that chat users in general are used to new messages on the bottom, and the text to scroll down. example: every other chat plugin for wordpress currently out / every major chat application such as Paltalk,Yahoo (no public rooms now) ,skype,AIM,pidgin, tiny chat, para chat,AOL, IRC, (you get the idea)
feel free to search out any major chat app on the market today to verify.
Have a nice day ??
