Chat Message not showing on mobile.

    I’m developing a site for a client and it’s in Coming Soon mode so I don’t have a link yet (link to screenshot above). I’m on Android Chrome and don’t see the chat message automatically show in the chat box after Submit. I also hear the sound several times but it seems stuck until I refresh the browser. Then it shows.

    It looks like Chrome on Android stopped supporting notifications, so it triggers an error that stops chats from working. I have a fix that is implemented on the chat demo. Please test the demo on your Android Chrome and verify that it is working. Thank you for reporting, @kfanker.

    Yeah just grab the JavaScript file from the chat demo and use it to replace the one included in your local copy of the plugin.

    Only a couple of functions were changed.

    Thank you so much! Your plugin is the only chat room type I’ve found that allows for customization and works simply. When are you releasing the next update by the way?

    I usually update my plugins with every major WP release (e.g., WP 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, etc.). I think the next release is next couple of months or so.

    Yes and no.

    It would be easier for me to just send you the complete/updated file. If you can send a quick email via my contact form, I will send a zipped copy of the file back to you asap.

    Note that Gmail and other 3rd-party email services do not allow ZIP or PHP attachments, so please use an email address that allows them.
