I quite like your plugin and might even buy the PRO version so I’ll give it another shot. The problem is that the plugin doesn’t work as it should for me. Charts are not displayed on the website at all. I tried disabling most of the plugins but it didn’t help. Maybe the error is really in the theme I’m using (Rehub theme). So what can I do?

    2. Have you faced this case before or this is the first time?
    3. Are you using a cache plugin?
    4. Also, please let us know whether you are facing this issue with all chart types or only with an exact type.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for your response.

    1. You can find it on this page. There are two charts at the very bottom of the page. One Pie-Chart and one Bar-Chart. Neither of those two is displayed.
    2. This is the first time.
    3. Yes. I use WP Rocket plugin.
    4. The problem affects all charts from your plugin.

    Thank you.

    Dear @blecha,

    Thank you for your response.

We have checked your case and noticed that the defer attribute is added to the Chart Builder plugin’s script.

    See the screenshot below:

Also, there is a JS error available which can also be caused by the defer attribute.

    See the screenshot below:

To solve the mentioned issue, we would like to ask you to make sure to customize the cache plugin’s configurations, so that the Chart plugin’s JS will not be changed.

After that, please clear all the caches and check the case again.

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for your response.

When I turn off the “DELAY JAVASCRIPT EXECUTION” feature in WP Rocket, the charts start to display correctly. The problem is that turning off this feature significantly slows down the loading of the entire site. Is there any other way to solve this problem? If not, your plugin makes no sense to me unfortunately ??

    Dear @blecha,

    Thank you for your reply.

Please, note that as we are using the Google Chart API’s, it is important to make the calls for Google API’s.

That is why, the JS files must load asynchronously. After activating the delay, the API calls stop working as they should.

At the moment, this is how the API call is working. The only possible solution that we can offer you is to exclude the chart JS files from your cache plugin.

Please, let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you.

So can you please provide me the js files that I should exclude from my cache plugin? I’ll try it.

    Dear @blecha,

    Thank you for your response.

    Please, exclude the following files:

    • chart-builder\public\js\chart-builder-public-plugin.js
    • chart-builder\public\js\chart-builder-public.js
    • chart-builder\public\js\google-chart.js

Please, check again and let us know about the outcome.

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for your response.

Now everything works as it should. I will try a few more experiments and if everything is ok, I will buy the PRO version. I like your plugin and the support is great. Thank you.
