Charging taxes in first payment

    Hi,
    I activated Deposits plugin and enable deposits in one product but is charging full taxes in deposit payment, is this the way it is supouse to work?

    This is the example:
    Product deposit settings
    Enable DepositEnable deposits feature for this product: checked
    Deposit type: Percentage of Amount
    Deposit Value: 50

    Product page
    Product price: COP$220.000
    Pay Deposit: COP$110.000

    Product in cart
    Tenis Abela – 35
    Deposit: $92,437
    Due Payment: $92,437
    Price: $220,000
    Quantity: 1
    Subtotal: $220,000 (includes tax)`

    Total: $220,000 (includes $35,126 TAX)
    To Pay: $127,563
    Due Payment: $92,437

    It makes no sense ??

    in the free version, you can’t separate it from deposit payment.
    but in the pro version, you have an option the pay only the deposit amount.

    Thanks for your answer.
    I understand free version has limitations but, for me there is still an error because it shows one price in product page (ej. $110,000) and a diferent price in cart and checkout (ej. $127,563).
    If at less it had a consistent value, plugin could be used.

    i am sure .it’s might be a conflict with something .
    maybe because the product itself have tax.

    No, product price config has no tax, COP$184873.95.

    so in the free version you can’t excluding the tax for deposit

    Niloy, I undestand but insist, in product page it shows deposit COP$110.000 ($92.437 + 19% tax on deposit) and in checkout shows deposit COP$127.563 (92.437 + 19% tax on full price). It would make customer crazy. It should be the same deposit amount in both places, it’s just an advice for the plugin.
    Anyway, thank you very much, I can’t use it and I can’t be sure that paid version would work.

    and if that works then you can go for the pro version. we suggest you test it on a staging site first.

    Didn’t work
    In product page shows deposit $110, in cart $127

    So sad ??
