I have WooCommerce for online shop.
I want to prevent the customers from entering non Latin characters like: Chinese,Korean,Hebrew etc..

    How can I do that?

If you don’t mind me asking – why do you want to do that? Customer names might contain non-Latin characters even if they’re living in the countries that you’re selling to.

    Hi,
I need that because WooCommerce is just the website which we use to sell.
We actualy handle the orders in our in-house system so we have to import the data from WooCommerce to our system. If it’s not in Latin letters we need to contact him to get this information. UPS and DHL system which we work with also doesn’t always accept some special characters.

Any person can write his name, address etc in English. He just needs to know that this is a requirement. Also, when handling refunds, returns and support it’s very hard to locate the customer… When everything is English it’s much simpler.

For example: When I buy at eBay or Amazon I use my name in English with Latin characters.

I’m not asking to force this rule on any WooCommerce user but I think it’s important to allow store owner to limit the use whichever set of characters that they wish for example: Latin-1, UTF-8 etc…
