• I have a small problem with, I think, the width of the <div content>. As soon as I pass over a link, the text is being displaced (?). Take a look:

    I had this problem once, but I can’t recall how I fixed it. It does that in IE, but not in Mozilla (though the site looks like shit in Mozilla). BTW, there is something I don’t understand with XHML’s validation: why is the validation for if it does not garantee that a site looks the same in different browsers?

  • I’d start by looking at the differences in my css between .post a and .post:hover – looks like it is an IE problem.
    As for the validation, the guarantee is that it validates according to “their” standard, not what different browsers do with that standard.

    The whole idea of standards is that, in order to be called standards, the majority of people in that particular area (web development) have to use it. IE is not W3C standards-compliant.
