• Certain areas of the admin system seem to replace certain characters with others.

    i.e. / is placed in front of ‘

    This then appears on the front end.

    i.e. it’s becomes it/’s

    This doesn’t affect posting or editing posting but does affect Authors descriptions and editing comments.

    NB: comments are fine if entered through the front end. Only when edited in the admin system does this additional character placement occur.

  • Sounds like you’re running 2.0.3? There’s a tuneup plugin that will fix a few minor bugs until the next release comes out.

    Thank you, that has fixed the issue with the /

    The issue left now is on the author page. The about user box will not accept < > characters.

    Well more to the point it does accept them and prints them as is rather than allowing th input of HTML tags.

    ie to place a link in the users profile.

    Help to fix this would also be appreciated.
