character encoding suddenly broken

    I’ve got a problem. I’ve been running 3 different installations of WordPress 2.3.1 for months with no problems. All of them are in the same server, and today I found that special characters are broken. I use UTF-8. You can see one of the blogs here.

    Now even I get php errors (Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sites/www.optimitza.cat/web/actualidad/wp-includes/classes.php on line…) that this morning I did not get, so it seems it’s getting worse…

    I’ve talked to my hosting provider and they have just updated MySQL to version 5.0, it probably has to do with this.
