• Hi. After moving a site to a different FTP I’ve gained problems with the character encoding in the description. Chars like ‘?’, ‘?’ and ‘?’ doesn’t display and instead replaced with other characters.

I have tested to enable charsetscan but unfortunately without any result. My database is also configured to use UTF-8 and I’ve tested several other things that unfortunately haven’t worked either.

I figured someone else here might have had the same problem or might know how to help.

    Thanks in advance!

To clarify: The rest of the site’s encoding works perfectly well. Also the encoding in the title coming with the RSS works well too. It’s just for some reason the description where unwanted characters appears.

Is the plugin file with the right encoding, also UTF-8? Maybe you have change this via the FTP process.
