character codes keep firefox from printing

  • When WP inserts special characters, for instance, when it replaces a single quote with ’ this seems to keep Firefox (2.0.0.16) from printing. I’m on a Mac, btw.

    trying to get the code to show up – try this:

    & # 8 2 1 7 ;

    Try emptying your Firefox browser cache and turning your printer off and then back on.

    If you don’t want fancy quotes, try the Unfancy Quote plugin.

    prints fine from Safari to any printer. I’m running Web Developer add-on on Firefox with cache disabled. Will probably get rid of fancy quotes until I figure this out – but I like fancy!!!!

    Anybody else ever see this?
