chaos in dashboard widgets

Can you tell me what the columns in the dashboard widgets area are good for? Are they for different roles, but which and why only three?

@dhoffman– That would be a good feature… but, unfortunately, it’s a bug. Should be fixed in 1.5.7. You may have to set your Dashboard Widgets and Widgets again.

@modiphier– Your issue should be fixed in 1.5.7.
