Chaning Domain: Will old links in pages still work?

Thanks, seems like the plugin is a bit shady with people complaining it’s screwing up their databases in the forums. I was thinking about just going in to a text editor and just doing a find/replace with the database file which looks like what this plugin does. Would there be any reason not to manually find/replace with a text editor?

That is what I do as I know how to to it I alway keep copy of sql file just in case and I use Notepad++
