Changing WordPress URL Breaks Theme Styles?

  • Hi,
    We’re working on a website with WordPress that is residing on our server, with our domain/~site

    We had a domain switched over to our server and want to transfer everything over. I switched the WordPress URL and all the content and links transfer over correctly, but the styles do not work right. Is there a reason for this?

    Yes, I followed both of those and the theme is still broken. All of the links are transferred over and all the content is still there, but the theme isn’t functional.

    With the domain, we have it pointing to the ip of the folder that was showing before (synrgyproductions.com/~etc/). When just using etc-1.com, it would point perfectly and the theme would not be broken. However, the links still pointed to the previous domain, which is what we’re trying to transfer over. So upon changing the WordPress URI’s, the theme breaks, and I have not a clue why.
