changing wordpress or Blog URL?

    Allright, i have a question concerning changing the appearance of the link, which means i have to change the wordpress or the blog url.

    its about this site: https://www.droid-boy.de

    If you go there and move with your mouse over the homscreen button it will tell you:
    https://www.mogandi.de/droid-boy

    Mogandi.de is my main webspace account and domain. droid-boy is the folder i have put this installation into.

    I have also the domain https://www.droid-boy.de.
    What i want is that people dont see mogandi.de but droid-boy.de when they go over a link.
    Its also a problem in google as people start seeking for mogandi instead of droid boy, which is realy a problem for me as i dont want to get mixed up the spaceship nerd with the android handheld nerd ??

    So the question is now what i do have to change. I am totally confused and feel uncertain what to do and i dont want to make any experiment, because i fear that i wont be able to access the blog if i do something wrong.

    This is why i request your support on this and how i could solve the problem.

    Any help will be much apreciated!

    i have tried to read it but its totally confuseing me. ??

    Cant i just change one of the two properties?

    The thing is i havent moved the site or changed the url of it. Its there and working, only the link should be changed.

    i canot find that on that sheet you gave me.

    I would think if your domain is properly pointed at the folder, you should be able to change both.

    I have blogs in folders within my main domain hosting, but have a different domain pointing at them….so a wordpress install at
    blogA.com/blogB

    but I have the blogB domain pointed to the proper folder. So both my URLs in general settings are https://www.blogB.com and it works for me

    Try that, if its no good, then just change the Blog/Site URL

    don’t be afraid to experiment, if something messes up, you can change the values back in your database. The link @t-p provided gives instructions on that too

    allright, thanks so far for the help!

    so if anything would go wrong with these two lines in wp-config i could make it reverse, right?

    define('WP_HOME','https://example.com');

    So i was shitting into my browser ahm trouser when i tried it and it worked!
