Changing wordpress domain name

  • Unfortunatly the domain name for my blog expired and was lost..
    I have wordpress hosted on my own web space. I have a new domain name i want to point the blog to.
    Please could someone advise on the correct procedure for pointing the blog to the new domain name. Many thanks
