• I couldn’t find a simple way to do this. The wp-config.php file required updating…but because of the extensive database content with the old URL it was just easier to drop the DB and start again with the new URL. Any easy way to do this? With previous builds it was simply updating the wp_posts post_content and guid, and also the blog URL in the admin.

    Thanks!

Not really. Becasue the domain name is all over the place, the “easiest” way is to tak ea databse backup, download it to your desktop, open it up in a really good text editor and do a search & replace.
    Then replace it.

That seems silly to me =(
