heres a tutorial with lots of info. it’s in your header.php file, <title></title>

This is controlled from Settings –> General. The title bar of the web browser will read something like “Your Blog Title | Tagline” by default.

On internal posts and pages, it will reflect the title of where you are.

If you want to completely override this, go into the wp-content –> themes directory of your installation and edit header.php Change the code between <title> and </title> to what you want to have appear in the browser’s title bar.
