Changing UTC to EST

  • Hi,

    I have the time setting on my blog set to Chicago. When I use the following code:

    <?php the_time(‘F j, Y g:i A T’); ?>

    It displays:

    Filed: January 17, 2011 1:35 PM UTC

    I want is to display:

    Filed: January 17, 2011 1:35 PM EST

    Any suggestions?
