Changing Username and Email on forums

Hi,

I recently signed up on the forums and wanted to know if it is possible to change my username and the email associated with my account.

The original email I signed up with is the email I want, however I don’t want my username or the display name that shows up in posts to be what it currently is.

I have since created another account with a separate email, forgetting that this account was already linked to another wordpress account so I can’t use that one.

I figured my best bet would be we change the email allocated to this account, so I have done that but now I am unable to use my original email as it says it is being used still.

Any help would be much appreciated ?? Thanks

You should just be able to change the display name – edit your profile, add a first/ last name, save, edit profile again and choose your display name

Just to expand on that, your email and display name can be changed in your support forum account (make sure the email is valid).

Your actual support forum username cannot be changed or deleted. It’s a limitation of the software here.

But you cannot register the same email address with another account, even if you change it on your current profile

You could you know…sign up for a new account using a different e-mail address and just not use Dylan Martin Photography.

My original account was “Jan Dembowski is a totally awesome person and I am thankful for the millions of questions he has answered on these forums” but that was too long so I decided to go with the current one.
